Blog #32 Scene 3 description

Scene 3 is the first sad scene that I made in the movie. A lot of the first half of the film is really happy and excited because it is another ordinary happy day for Charlette and this shows how the mood of the character in the scene changes from the beginning to the end. The use of certain lighting also helps contribute to this scene.

In this scene it has Charlette reading a book in a classroom alone. Then her bully walks into the room and starts to pick on her. Charlette repeatedly tells him to leave her alone but he refuses again and again. He sits next to her and continues to pick one her. He then gets up and throws Charlette's book on the ground. As Charlette goes to pick it up he throws the ball at her and Charlette gets upset and eventually leaves.

This image shows the 2 characters right next to each other with the bully wearing a typical outfit for a jock with a football in his hand and Charlette wearing a little bit of a nerdy outfit with a book by Shakespeare in her hand. This is to show the difference in life style of the 2 characters and what they do in their everyday life. This shows really well how the 2 characters are complete opposites and that they should stay away from one another.
