There are different ways sound can be used in film ad other media forms. Sound can be used for casual conversation, intense music in a super hero movie and so many more thigs
There are many different kinds of sound in film like:
Dialogue: Dialogue is the spoken language between characters in film
Foley: Secondary sounds created in post-production, such as footsteps or a kiss
Diegetic: Any sound that the characters on screen can here like dialogue or a movie that they are watching
Ambient: sounds that set the mood of the film and also help create feeling
Offscreen: Offscreen sound is sound that comes from a source the viewer can not see but helps to fill the space like a car crash on the road while the characters are at a party
Narration: A commentary sound that comes from that comes from an outside source that is not visible on screen
Each of the videos i used was to give a short clip of an example of each of these different kinds of sound in film and to help people better understand the concept
